We need to remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we should drop sections like "Application Instructions", "How To Apply", "Who May Apply", "Required Application Package Documents", etc. Also drop EEO statement at top. Also drop "Federal Workers, California Welcomes You!" maybe considered boilerplate? It's a note but maybe keep as part of department info? It's somewhat promotional but not boilerplate. Might keep as part of department info. We need to preserve all substantive information: job details, duties, special requirements (SOQ questions), salary, classification, work location, telework, job type, department info, etc. We need to format into sections with
headings. Which sections have content? Potential sections: - About the role (maybe a brief overview) - Responsibilities (duties) - Requirements (maybe special requirements? Actually special requirements are about SOQ; but we could treat as Requirements) - Qualifications (maybe classification, salary, etc) - Skills (maybe from duties: data analysis, report writing, financial analysis) - Benefits (maybe PLP info? Not exactly benefits; but we have info about PLP temporary reduction; not a benefit. Could skip Benefits if not explicit.) - Pay (salary range) - Schedule (maybe telework/hybrid, full-time) We need to only include sections when posting has real specific content. So we need to decide. We have salary range: $7,980.00 - $9,994.00 for PURA III; also mention Shall Consider: PURA II range. So we can put Pay section with that. We have Work Location: San Francisco County; Telework: Hybrid; Job Type: Permanent, Full Time. Could be Schedule section? Or maybe a "Work Details" but not in allowed headings. Allowed headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we can put Schedule for telework/hybrid and full-time. We have Department Information: could be About the role. We have Job Description And Duties: Responsibilities. We have Special Requirements: could be Requirements (SOQ). Or Qualifications? The special requirements are about SOQ, not qualifications per se. But we can treat as Requirements. We have classification and maybe eligibility: could be Qualifications. We have skills: from duties: researching, collecting, analyzing data; writing reports; financial/economic/accounting/tax analysis. Could be Skills. We have Benefits: maybe not explicit; but we have PLP info about temporary reduction; not a benefit. Could skip Benefits. We need to avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. We must not repeat job title as heading. So we won't put a heading for "Analyst, Utility Costs and Compliance". We'll embed that in About the role maybe. We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings; we can fold minor metadata into a short
or drop. So we can include Job Code # and Position # in a paragraph maybe under About the role. We need to preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep all details: salary ranges, PLP note, new to state hiring note, shall consider, # of positions, work location, telework, job type, department info, duties, special requirements (SOQ questions and instructions), etc. We must remove application instructions etc. So we will not include sections about how to apply, who may apply, required documents, etc. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. Let's craft. Structure:
