BNP Paribas CIB Americas Chief Conduct and Control Office (CCCO) is responsible for establishing and deploying a strong conduct and permanent control framework on all non-financial risks (operational, conduct, and regulatory) across the enterprise. The Transversal Operation Permanent Control (TOPC) team within CIB Americas CCCO strengthens and aligns the Control teams embedded in our businesses by standardizing and implementing a consistent operational risk methodology across the region.

About the role

The New Jersey-based candidate will act in a leadership capacity, supporting the TOPC team to strengthen alignment among Operational Permanent Control (OPC) teams and manage transversal generic controls within the operational risk management framework.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, collect, monitor, analyze, report, and present incident trends to committees to support management’s understanding of causal patterns and advise on prevention.
  • Implement Group policy related to the Operational Permanent Control (OPC) Framework for Incident Management events (internal or external) that have or could have resulted in loss, gain, or opportunity cost.
  • Contribute to TOPC ad-hoc projects and special assignments (e.g., thematic analysis, process re-engineering) to strengthen the Permanent Control Framework.
  • Manage other transversal control-related projects as required.

Pay

The base salary for this position in Jersey City, NJ is $75,000–$100,000.
