Lazard is seeking an Analyst with relevant full‑time experience to join the Technology team in San Francisco. Technology Analysts work on strategic transactions for leading and emerging companies in the Software, Internet, Hardware, and Semiconductors verticals, gaining exposure to senior bankers and client executives.

Responsibilities

• Create and prepare client presentations and marketing materials
• Build complex financial models and perform valuation and other analytical exercises
• Conduct detailed industry research and competitive analyses
• Execute deal processes, support due diligence and liaise with the client or other advisors

Requirements

• Top academic performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment that values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise
• At least one year of full‑time experience in investment banking and a passion for the Technology industry
• Strong quantitative background and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
• Motivation to work as a team player and contribute to a positive team culture
• Fluency in the use of AI tools and prompt engineering

Skills

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, FactSet, Bloomberg, and Pitchbook

Pay

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $120,000 – $125,000 USD. Actual base compensation will reflect factors such as years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, education level, certifications, and relevant skills. Base salary is one component of Lazard’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
