Analyst, Talent Acquisition Sourcing
About the role
Visa’s Early Careers Talent Acquisition team is seeking an Analyst, Talent Acquisition Sourcing, to join our diverse team of industry-leading talent attraction professionals. This role will collaborate with Talent Acquisition campus recruiters and work directly with hiring teams to drive overall company growth. As part of the Global Talent Acquisition team, you will attract early-careers talent that impacts the global organization through active talent attraction methods and strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage relationships with a set of core schools, partnering with university career centers, student organizations, faculty, staff, and Visa leaders.
- Design recruiting activation events on assigned campuses to showcase Visa as an employer of choice.
- Manage event expenses, return on investment from events, and leads/hires generated from recruiting events.
- Build and nurture a long-term early-careers talent pipeline to fulfill Visa’s 2030 strategic imperatives.
- Contribute to Strategy In-Take Meetings with the Talent Acquisition Partner and hiring team.
- Utilize hunting and sourcing skills to actively identify talent via platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, 12Twenty, Handshake, and RippleMatch.
- Actively market job openings, partnering with Recruitment Marketing on advertising and encouraging hiring teams to share within their networks.
- Build and utilize a strong network of prospective candidates to identify a diverse slate of candidates.
- Attract top early-careers talent while acting as a Visa culture ambassador both in-person and online using social media tools like LinkedIn.
- Source and screen applicants to provide a down-select of qualified talent to the talent partner(s).
- Partner with cross-functional Talent Acquisition teams, including Recruiting, Inclusion & Diversity (I&D), and Employee Resource Groups.
- Source, manage, and train volunteers for recruiting events and engagements.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Work in a hybrid environment with at least 3 days in the office per week.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree.
- 3-5 years of experience within Talent Acquisition, including talent attraction, recruiting, or related fields, with a bachelor’s degree or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as Smart Recruiters and Workday.
- Experience working with college students in a professional capacity.
- Proficiency in utilizing social media outlets for sourcing, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, RippleMatch, and 12Twenty.
- Experience with proactive sourcing methodologies, tools, and building Boolean search strings.
- Creative skills in researching and identifying both passive and active candidates.
- Strong collaboration and results-oriented mindset; self-motivated, organized, and resourceful.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work on multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to large audiences and selling Visa as an employer of choice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel 30% of the time and submit travel expenses for reimbursement.
- Experience utilizing a Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tool, such as Avature or Workday.
- Experience producing virtual or hybrid recruiting events.
- Experience recruiting early-careers talent at universities with top computer science programs.
- Prior sourcing experience within the fintech industry.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, organization, and project management skills.
Pay
For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $104,900.00 to $163,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
