Analyst, Security Operations - USA Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Analyst, Security Operations - USA Remote to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will support the monitoring and investigation of security events in a remote environment, with a focus on phishing, malware, and incident response activities. The analyst will help strengthen operational security processes by documenting escalation procedures, improving investigation workflows, and supporting remediation efforts. In addition, this position will collaborate closely with Security and IT partners across the organization while helping to mentor junior team members and support onboarding. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $125,000 – $145,000 annually Responsibilities Respond to and investigate security events such as phishing and malware detections Mentor junior analysts and support onboarding of new team members Document existing processes for handling security escalations Write new procedures for security investigations as required Support incident response containment and lead remediation activities Develop relationships with Security and IT teams across the organization Qualifications 4+ years of experience in a security operations center or similar role Hands-on experience with security tools like SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, WAF, and SOAR Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills Benefits Comprehensive healthcare programs Paid time off 401(k) plan Flexible remote working arrangements Significant growth opportunities in cybersecurity roles Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
