Position consists of three main areas of focus: Analysis and Statistical Data Research, Employee Training and Fleet Inspections.
Responsibilities
- Conducting field safety program data analysis and study
- Management and creation of spreadsheets and databases
- Managing reporting dashboards and presentations
- Troubleshooting excel systems, worksheets and quality control systems involving field safety, compliance, training and risk analysis
- Traveling to Pauley Construction sites conducting various employee trainings in the areas of Safety, OSHA, Human Resources, Equipment and On the job Training
- Field and yard inspections to comply with state, federal, city and OSHA regulations in regards to equipment and work done
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to face issues in a positive manner and resolve day-to-day conflicts
- Personal responsibility for the overall safety, job sites, customer, OSHA and company policy and procedures
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of work-related experience including research, data analysis, statistical analysis, training and report writing
- Experience working in telecommunications, construction, utilities or cable
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

- Ability to make common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to deal with and understand problems involving different variables
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Ability to read, understand and interpret documents such as safety rules and requirements, machine manuals of operation and process procedures
- Ability to write information including reports
- Ability to speak effectively to customers, vendors and coworkers
- Ability to collect, organize, disseminate and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics
- Ability to make common sense understanding to carry out instructions

Pay
Pay Range: The Analyst Safety salary wage range is $60,000 - $70,000, depending on experience.
Schedule
Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
Physical & Safety Requirements and the Working Environment
Employees performing functions of this position are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions which can include but is not limited to: extreme heat and cold temperatures; inclement weather such as rain, snow, sleet and dust; adverse driving conditions including wet roads, icy roads, and fog. Employees performing these job functions are required to lift or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds in a shift with assistance. Employees in this job classification may be exposed to dust, fumes or other airborne pathogens. Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include but are not limited to: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus potentially near and/or far as needed.
