About the Role
The Revenue Management team maximizes ticket revenue on every JetBlue flight by leveraging two closely collaborating teams: Yield and Pricing.
- Yield: As a Yield Analyst, you will manage revenue performance for a portfolio of routes, often exceeding $100 million in revenue. You will use Yield controls to determine the optimal fare at any given time to maximize flight revenue.
- Pricing: As a Pricing Analyst, you will ensure JetBlue remains competitive in airline pricing by monitoring industry pricing changes and executing strategic responses. You will also collaborate with the Yield team to optimize pricing structures for each market.
Responsibilities
- Plan and test implementations of revenue management theory to improve system-wide revenue performance.
- Design and execute controlled fare tests to study customer price elasticity of demand.
- Query and analyze passenger ticketing data to gain market insights and inform pricing decisions.
- Communicate revenue performance and competitive market dynamics to team members and leadership.
- Provide cross-functional support to teams such as Sales, Network Planning, Loyalty, Travel Products, and Marketing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field; OR a High School Diploma/GED with at least four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- One (1) year of experience in an analytical role in revenue management, yield management, pricing, or a directly adjacent field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as quantitative critical thinking abilities.
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, collaboratively, and under pressure.
- Must demonstrate data analysis skills in a work sample assessment.
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is required; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of revenue management experience.
- Two (2) years of analytical quantitative experience.
- A proven interest in airlines, aviation, or transportation systems through schooling or prior work experience.
- Proficiency in SQL and other database tools.

- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Potential need to work flexible hours and respond on short notice.
- Able to maintain a professional appearance.
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, assist with light aircraft cleaning if time permits.

- Promote safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS).
- Identify and report safety or security concerns, incidents, or hazards using JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (ASAP or SAR).
- The use of automated tools (e.g., ChatGPT) during the interview process will disqualify a candidate.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Equipment: Computer and standard office equipment.
- Environment: Traditional office setting.
- Physical Effort: Generally not required, or up to 10 pounds occasionally (sedentary).
Pay
The base pay range for this position is $67,000.00 to $101,000.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include:
