Join the Revenue Management team, where we maximize ticket revenue on every JetBlue flight, every day. This group is split into two closely collaborating teams—Yield and Pricing—that ensure JetBlue sells the optimal number of tickets at the right prices based on customer demand.

About the role

You will be placed in one of the following focus areas:

  • Yield: As a Yield Associate Analyst, you will manage the revenue performance for a portfolio of JetBlue routes, often representing over $100 million in revenue. You will use Yield controls to determine the optimal fare at any given moment to maximize each flight’s revenue.
  • Pricing: As a Pricing Associate Analyst, you will ensure JetBlue remains competitive in the dynamic airline pricing landscape by monitoring industry pricing changes and executing JetBlue’s responses. You will also collaborate with the Yield team to optimize pricing structures across all markets.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and test implementations of revenue management theory to improve current business processes and enhance system-wide revenue performance.
  • Design and execute controlled fare tests to study customer price elasticity of demand.
  • Query and analyze passenger ticketing data to gain market insights and inform future pricing decisions.
  • Communicate revenue performance and competitive market dynamics to crewmembers, managers, and leadership.
  • Provide cross-functional support to teams such as Sales, Network Planning, Loyalty, Travel Products, and Marketing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field; or a High School Diploma/GED with at least four (4) years of relevant work experience.
  • One (1) year of experience in an analytical role or relevant coursework.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong quantitative and critical thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, collaboratively, and under pressure.
  • Must demonstrate data analysis skills in a work sample assessment.
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is required; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • One (1) year of Revenue Management experience.
  • One (1) year of analytical quantitative experience.
  • Proven interest in airlines, aviation, or transportation systems through schooling or prior work experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other database tools.

Crewmember Expectations

  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and respond on short notice.
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance.
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, assist with light aircraft cleaning if time permits.
  • Exhibit JetBlue’s values: Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun, and Passion.
  • Promote safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS), Safety Policy, and behavioral standards.
  • Identify and report safety or security concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards using JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (ASAP or SAR).
  • Use of ChatGPT or any automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate.

Work Environment

  • Equipment: Computer and standard office equipment.
  • Work Environment: Traditional office setting.
  • Physical Effort: Sedentary work; generally not required, or up to 10 pounds occasionally.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $58,000.00 to $86,000.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include:
