ANALYST PROGRAMMER - STEP 1

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the city's water distribution systems, ensuring safe and reliable water supply to residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of water distribution infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Manage staff and contractors to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
• Develop and implement strategies to improve system efficiency and reduce costs
• Respond to emergencies and incidents related to water distribution systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in water utility management
• Knowledge of water treatment processes and distribution systems
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• First aid and CPR certification

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with GIS software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
