Analyst,Patient Relations
Responsibilities
- Aid patients in understanding their medicare and insurance options.
- Help patients navigate insurance issues, including coverage, benefits, summaries, and eligibility.
- Advise patients on how to get the most out of their insurance plans.
- Collaborate with the care team and outreach team to address insurance-related questions.
- Facilitate the welcome visit and orientation process for new Oak Street Health patients.
- Inform patients about applying for public benefits, such as Public Aid and Extra Help for prescription drugs.
- Support the clinic management team with operational activities, including scheduling and billing.
- Provide exceptional customer service and foster patient engagement through events.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Gmail, MS Word or Google Docs, Excel, etc.
- US work authorization.
- Strongly preferred qualifications include proficiency in non-English languages spoken by Oak Street Health's patient population.
- Experience helping patients or customers understand their insurance coverage.
- A passion for creating an unmatched patient experience.
- A problem-solving orientation and a flexible, positive attitude.
- Experience in sales background preferred.
- Experience helping patients navigate the healthcare system, especially related to Medicare and managed care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

The typical pay range for this role is $21.10 - $40.90. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
