Analyst - Packaging

About the role

Toyota Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Analyst to lead packaging maintenance and kaizen for mass production. This position requires strong leadership and coordination skills, as well as the ability to manage various projects and special initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to efficiently maintain packaging resources from TMMMS to suppliers, focusing on cost reduction.
• Improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost for the end user through kaizen initiatives.
• Manage operations: Create supplement orders for missing or damaged freight, procure and manage freight expedites, and resolve part shortages.
• Work with vendors and 3PLs to communicate and resolve packaging issues.
• Maintain flexibility to manage the unknown, special projects, and crisis situations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• 1+ years’ experience in an operational role focused in Packaging, Supply Chain Engineering, or other Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience leading people through projects.
• Ability to lead coordination meetings with all levels of management to ensure production volumes are met on time.

Qualifications

• Ability to take large amounts of data/information and summarize to the necessary audience (Executive Updates).
• Work different shifts/weekends as required.

Skills

• Supply Chain Management experience.
• Packaging experience.
• TPS fundamentals understanding and practice in problem-solving, standardization, JIT, etc.
• Power-BI and/or SQL experience.
• High level of competence with MS Office operating systems.
