About the Role
The Associate will join the Investor Relations Team in Chicago, directly supporting the Wealth Sales and Fundraising Teams. Reporting to the Director of Client Service, this role provides a superior level of service to prospective and existing investors across wealth channels (private banks, wirehouses, broker-dealers, RIAs, and family offices) by creating and coordinating effective communications and data. The Associate will collaborate with teams across Adams Street to support investor requests and wealth-related projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Adams Street product offerings, industry trends, competitive landscape, and the universe of prospective and existing clients across North America.
- Create and update client presentations, market updates, and other client-related communications.
- Prepare and deliver customized client-facing materials in response to prospective and existing client requests.
- Ensure the timely delivery of standard and customized data and reporting requests.
- Support registered product servicing, including coordination of operational infrastructure for product launches on platforms.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including RFPs, due diligence materials, and day-to-day investor inquiries.
- Support the onboarding and subscription process (including transfers) and engagement with third parties and administrators.
- Conduct market and prospect research across the North American region to identify, track, and manage pipeline activity.
- Serve as a point person for the Investor Portal (access, data entry) and CRM (Salesforce), including updating client records, tracking opportunities, and recording meeting notes.
- Collaborate with teams across the firm to ensure accurate and prompt follow-up on ad hoc projects.
Requirements
- Experience in private markets, preferably in a client-facing role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- 1-2+ years of professional experience, ideally within wealth management or other client-facing roles.
- Knowledge of HNW/UHNW investors and/or family offices preferred.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and prepare technical materials in a timely manner.
- Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, and able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Professional presence with strong communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external parties.
- Fluency with proprietary databases and software systems, including CRM (ideally Salesforce).
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team context.
- Graduated from a top-tier undergraduate university, ideally with a business focus.

Pay
$85,000—$110,000 USD (Illinois Pay Transparency).
