Analyst, IT Operations

About the role

The Analyst, IT Operations role supports the development and maintenance of automated systems to improve efficiency and meet customer requirements. This includes analyzing complex business problems, creating and testing new systems, and providing technical support.

Responsibilities

• Determine required improvements on the systems and supervise their implementation.
• Assist the team in determining methods and procedures for new assignments.
• Create functional and technical specifications for developers.
• Verify newly developed processes.
• Analyze, evaluate, test, and debug shop floor application programs in support of various manufacturing areas.
• Provide day-to-day end user service and technical support.
• Perform software configuration and setups of new customer in MES tracking systems.
• Aids in determining suitable software to meet business requirements.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware failures related to shop floor computers.
• Create SSRS reports.
• Create stored procedures, triggers, views, and indexing support relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Support SQL, T-SQL, and SQL-Profiler.
• Work with client/server application interfaces, distributed systems interfaces, and peripheral devices.
• Handle basic Python programming.
• Integrate OPC servers and PLCs for data capture and configuration.
• Work with NET programming and API programming.
• Support non-relational databases (ELK, MongoDB).

Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and training. Minimum 7 years of industry experience working with SQL/MES Application (FlexFlow).
