Analyst, Insurance/Reinsurance

Key Responsibilities

• Supports the execution and administration of investments in the insurance portfolio, including data preparation, analysis, and documentation.
• Assists in the evaluation of new investment opportunities, including working with credit ratings providers and interfacing with the investment origination teams.
• Prepares financial and operational reports related to investment portfolios and related performance metrics.
• Collaborates with actuarial, finance, and legal teams to assess transaction terms and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintains monitoring of the performance and reporting obligations of existing investments.
• Conducts research and analysis to support product development, pricing assumptions, and risk-management strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in insurance, reinsurance, financial services, asset management, or related operational and analytical roles.
• Exposure to life insurance, reinsurance structures, or alternative asset strategies is preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial or actuarial modeling.
• Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and synthesizing findings into actionable insights and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
