Reinsurance - Associate Analyst

About the role

The Reinsurance Claims Associate Analyst will assist a team of claims professionals in managing the reinsurance claim payment process, analyzing loss runs and input, and validating reinsurance claims.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, understand and apply reinsurance contracts
• Evaluate submitted claims for determination of coverage
• Calculate and process loss and expense reserves and billings
• Communicate with brokers and cedents to provide support and resolve claim issues
• Approve reinsurance claim payments based on contract terms within authority
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external parties
• Participate in various projects that support Cincinnati Re in maintaining our competitive edge

Qualifications

• Relevant undergraduate degree required
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and high organizational skills
• Proficiency in using claims and analytical software systems and Microsoft Excel
• Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively without hesitation to ask questions
• Aptitude to lead and embrace change

Benefits

The position offers a pay range of $65,000 - $75,000 annually, with an annual cash bonus based on company and individual performance.
