Analyst III Treasury Ops

About the role
The overall objective of this role is to drive financial performance by providing research, analytics, and recommendations on complex business modeling, non-standard reporting, and impacts of changing accounting principles to leadership. This position requires expertise in cash management principles, including accounting analysis and reporting, accounting controls and audit, and payment process governance. Hybrid work schedule: 3 in-person days at one of our core locations (Carlisle, PA or Salisbury, NC) and 2 remote days. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, reconcile, audit, and summarize financial data for management decision-making and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Report Cash and Payment exceptions within the organization; calculate accruals using business knowledge, historical data, or future projections.
- Lead period close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries, while maintaining current knowledge of specialized accounting, tax laws, and governmental regulations.
- Identify and assess financial variances, providing insight and advice to senior management on accounting issues arising from reconciliation or reported financial results.
- Compile accurate period, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring financial statement accuracy, and complete requests for non-standard reports.
- Serve as a technical resource during internal and external audit processes.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to drive project and functional activities, gaining cooperation through personal persuasiveness.
- Partner with product and service suppliers, Retail Services, Banking, Information Technology, and other business partners to identify and solve complex business issues.
- Answer Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet questions for assigned accounts and ensure completion of period-end checklists for accurate income and receivables reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate accounting transactions for general ledger and bank-related accounts, performing account analysis and reconciliations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for 3rd party vendor relations for outsourced functions and lead special projects for the department.
- Perform additional job duties as needed to meet business needs and support company values.
Qualifications
- 4-5 years of mostly relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and outside vendors.
- Ability to multitask across several projects.
- Strong organizational skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications
- General Accounting knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP S4/Hanna.
Pay
Salary Range: $75,040 - $112,560. Actual compensation offered may vary based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will align with company policies and applicable laws.
