About the role

Under the direction of the Program and Project Supervisor, the incumbent performs analytical and administrative functions supporting enterprise risk management, risk and compliance, and division operations. The incumbent conducts research and analysis; prepares reports, presentations, and other materials; supports risk and compliance activities; monitors audit and compliance information; and develops policies, procedures, and workflows.

The incumbent independently performs assigned administrative functions, serving as backup Human Resources Liaison, Timekeeper, and Budget Control Officer; coordinates personnel, timekeeping, budget, and recruitment activities; and works with Human Resources, Fiscal, and program staff. The incumbent also supports staff training on compliance requirements and enterprise risk management and performs special projects and other assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis to support enterprise risk management and compliance activities.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor audit and compliance information to ensure adherence to regulations and policies.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Serve as backup Human Resources Liaison, Timekeeper, and Budget Control Officer.
• Coordinate personnel, timekeeping, budget, and recruitment activities.
• Support staff training on compliance requirements and enterprise risk management.
• Manage special projects and other assignments as needed.

Requirements

• Valid California Driver’s License (CDL).
• Eligibility for the classification (see Special Requirements for details on gaining eligibility).
• Submission of a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) addressing four specific questions (see Special Requirements).

Pay

ANALYST II: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month

ANALYST I (alternate range): $3,861.00 – $6,276.00 per month
