Analyst II

Job Summary

The Analyst II independently performs complex, sensitive, and/or varied analytical and technical tasks related to the efficient functioning of the Attorney General's Executive Office. A high degree of initiative, professionalism, tact, and discretion are required.

Responsibilities

• Handles inquiries and issues related to the Attorney General’s Awards and National Association of Attorneys’ General Awards.
• Works collaboratively as part of a team during peak periods to assist with emails, calls, and forms processing.
• Provides training and acts as a lead on specific projects and programs.

Requirements

This position has been designated as eligible for telework and is currently a remote-centered position. The position may however require in-person attendance when requested. The selected candidate would report to Department of Justice headquarters in Sacramento if/when required to attend mandated in-person meetings, trainings, etc. Expenses related to travel to the office for required events are the responsibility of the employee. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.

• Collaborative skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
• Experience handling inquiries and issues related to awards and associations is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are necessary.

Pay

$6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday.
