Analyst II, Applications Software

City of Fort Collins · Fort Collins, CO · 4 wk ago
Engineering$77k–$128k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: h3 headings for sections present with real content. Must not repeat job title as heading. Must not include Job ID/requisition numbers as headings; can fold into short p or drop. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Must preserve all substantive info. We need to extract sections: About the role? Not present explicitly but we have Job Summary. Could treat as "About the role" or "Job Summary". The instruction: use h3 for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we need to map content to these headings if present. We have: - Job Summary: description of role. Could be "About the role" or "Job Summary". Probably "About the role". - Essential Duties And Responsibilities: list of duties. That's "Responsibilities". - Required Knowledge Skills And Abilities: list of skills/abilities. That could be "Skills" or "Qualifications". There's also "Required Qualifications" section with Minimum Preferred etc. So we have qualifications. - Benefits: list of benefits under "Why Work For the City of Fort Collins?" includes medical, dental, vision, PTO, retirement, FSA, EAP, life insurance, disability, wellness program, onsite clinic, learning dev, collaborative environment. That's benefits. - Pay: ANNUAL SALARY RANGE and ANNUAL ANTICIPATED HIRING RANGE. So we have pay info. - Schedule: Not explicitly given. There's mention of Full-Time Regular, but not schedule details. Should we include Schedule? Only if posting actually states them. It says Full-Time Regular but no specific schedule like 40 hrs/week. Might be considered schedule? The instruction: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. It does state Full-Time Regular, which implies schedule but not explicit hours. Might be considered schedule? Safer to not include Schedule section unless explicit like "Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm". Not present. So omit Schedule. - Also we have "Selection Process" with deadline etc. That's application instructions; we must remove application instructions. So drop that. - Also "Post-Offer Requirements Background check". That's maybe part of hiring process but could be considered not boilerplate? It's a requirement after offer. Might be considered part of "Requirements"? But it's a post-offer requirement. Could be included under "Requirements" maybe as a note. However instruction: remove duplicated lines, application instructions. This is not exactly application instruction but still part of hiring process. Might be considered boilerplate? Not sure. Safer to keep as part of "Requirements" or a separate section? The instruction says include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it. This is specific content: background check required. Could be under "Requirements" as a bullet. - Also "While the City of Fort Collins offers many remote and/or hybrid positions, all remote or hybrid work must be performed in the state of Colorado." That's location/work arrangement. Could be part of "About the role" or maybe "Schedule"? Not schedule. Could be included in "About the role" as a note. - Also "Management Responsibilities No City Competencies" seems garbled. Actually after Essential Duties, there is "Management Responsibilities No City Competencies". Then a list of competencies. That seems like "City Competencies" maybe part of qualifications. We'll treat as part of "Qualifications" or "Skills". The list: Demonstrated cultural competence..., Strong learning orientation..., etc. Those are competencies/behaviors. Could be under "Qualifications" or "Skills". We'll include them under "Qualifications" as bullet points. - Also "Required Knowledge Skills And Abilities" includes many items. That's skills. - Also "Required Qualifications Minimum Preferred College degree or equivalent work experience. Some positions may require functionally related certification or advanced degrees Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field from an accredited college or university Experience Requirements Three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience". That's qualifications. We need to avoid duplication. We'll combine qualifications and skills maybe separate sections: "Qualifications" for education/experience, "Skills" for technical abilities. We must not repeat job title as heading. So no h3 with "Analyst II, Applications Software". Good. We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings; we can drop them or put in a short p. We'll drop them. We must preserve all substantive information. So we need to include all bullet points from duties, skills, qualifications, benefits, pay, etc. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. So remove the long EEO paragraph at end, also the "Notice Regarding Medical and/or Recreational Marijuana Use", "The City is committed to equal employment opportunity..." etc. Also remove "The content in this posting was created for recruitment purposes. To view the full job description click the link below." and the link line. Also remove "Analyst II, Apps Software". Also remove "The City of Fort Collins will make reasonable accommodations..." etc. That's legal/accommodation; might be considered boilerplate? It's about accommodations for disabilities. Could be considered EEO/legal. Probably remove. Also remove "Please call (970) 221-6535 for assistance." That's contact info; maybe not needed. It's not application instruction but contact for assistance. Might be considered boilerplate? Not sure. Safer to remove as it's not substantive job content. Also remove "Post-Offer Requirements Background check (Background checks are considered in relation to the responsibilities and requirements of the position)" - we might keep as a requirement bullet. Also remove "While the City of Fort Collins offers many remote and/or hybrid positions, all remote or hybrid work must be performed in the state of Colorado." Could be kept as note about location. Now craft HTML. Structure:
