Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Process daily and weekly data files accurately and by established deadlines
- Deliver timely and accurate weekly payments; proactively identify and resolve discrepancies to prevent payment issues for the external sales team
- Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders
- Analyze billing and payment data to identify trends, variances, and anomalies, and clearly communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance analytical capabilities
- Review financial statements and perform detailed variance analysis of profit and loss reports
- Support the month-end close process in collaboration with the accounting team
- Review contract documents related to the compensation grid to validate that all billing and payment changes are executed accurately and on time
- Collaborate with team members to resolve daily operational challenges, including managing tight and competing deadlines
- Perform weekly and monthly billing reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and work with stakeholders to resolve issues
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial information
- Other duties as assigned based on departmental needs
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Math, or related field
- 0-2 years of related work experience
- Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Able to maintain confidentiality as appropriate
- Acts decisively to develop a sound plan, and then moves to communicate, implement and monitor it effectively
- Sets high performance standards for self and others; takes ownership and accountability for completing work projects successfully
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to improve workflows and drive efficiency
- Salesforce experience a plus
- Self-starter with high energy who takes initiative with minimal guidance
- Maintains a professional and positive attitude when collaborating with individuals inside and outside the organization
- Growth mindset with a strong desire to learn and develop professionally
