About the Role
The Analyst HR Operations Security & Applications assists the HR Operations team in supporting and enhancing HR processes and systems for all employees. This role is part of a broader team responsible for maintaining and optimizing HR systems used by the HR community and partners. The Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the functional security administration of all HR applications globally, serving as a point-of-contact for assigned functional areas, ensuring data integrity, maintaining system access, testing role changes, developing security reports, and analyzing processes for improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Functional Security:
- Administer system access requests for all HR application users, ensuring timely and accurate provisioning and deprovisioning.
- Troubleshoot and research system and security access-related issues reported by users, providing timely resolution.
- Conduct quarterly security audits and user access reviews to assess compliance with data security policies, procedures, and SOX requirements.
- Gather and document requirements for new security access requests and partner with the IT security team on the creation and testing of new security roles.
- Partner with stakeholders on existing security role modifications and enhancements from impact assessment, testing to implementation.
- Develop and maintain security audit reports or queries using applicable reporting tools.
- Provide functional security support for annual/recurring HR processes such as Performance Management, Compensation, COI, and Executive Reorgs.
- Maintain security-related configuration and end-user authorizations.
- Applications:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for new applications or enhancements to existing applications.
- Drive new application releases and prioritize key features to enhance the user experience for HR.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR and IT teams on application-related matters, providing updates, gathering feedback, and addressing concerns.
- Translate business requirements into functional design documents for technical teams.
- Provide support and training to end users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of new application features.
- Develop and maintain end-user guidelines and documentation.
- Projects/Process Improvements:
- Participate in system implementation projects from a functional security perspective, end-to-end through requirements, design, build, test, and implementation phases.
- Recommend and/or support process improvements and program changes.
- Support HR projects aimed at improving HR processes and systems, including large-scale deployments.
- Use project management skills to manage security workstream activities for the duration of projects.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Technology, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of HRIS-related experience.
- Intermediate to advanced expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Ability to commute on a weekly basis (typically one day per week, but sometimes more frequently) to either New York, NY or Universal City, CA office.
Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) modules and/or SAP SuccessFactors talent modules.
- Strong interpersonal and team skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds in a consultative manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare complex reports and analytics for senior leaders and auditors.

- Fully remote position, with the ability to work Eastern Time (ET) business hours to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and partners.
- Flexibility to provide on-call support for critical implementations and go-live events, including evening or weekend coverage as needed.

Pay
Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000.
