Analyst - HK Deal Flow
This position can be based in our global operations center in Tampa, FL, or at one of the Firm’s offices: Dallas, Miami, Orlando, or West Palm Beach.
About the Role
The Analyst - HK Deal Flow will work under the Director of Business Development – HK Deal Flow. The Analyst will have firsthand exposure to how institutional deal flow is generated, evaluated, and matched — across private equity funds, family offices, independent sponsors, strategics, and intermediaries. This is a high-visibility, high-accountability seat on a senior team. Additionally, this candidate will operate as the team’s data-intelligence specialist, owning the infrastructure that enables senior professionals to source, track, and close opportunities at scale. Responsibilities
- Identify and source investment opportunities in key focus industries for the firm’s proprietary HK Deal Flow℠ program.
- Leverage the HKDF/CRO database, powered by DealCloud to identify qualified buyers, lenders, and other investors for deals sourced.
- Facilitate and manage communication with investors, external deal intermediaries, and strategic partners.
- Track and manage the full lifecycle of deals through the HK Deal Flow℠ program, owning task management and workflow execution to ensure deals are shared, actions are completed, progress is monitored, and timely feedback is delivered to intermediaries.
- Maintain the HK Deal Flow database (e.g., entry of new deals, contacts, maintain data hygiene).
- Maintain HK Deal Flow℠ spreadsheets and attorney communication.
- Perform research assignments to support the growth and expansion of the HK Deal Flow program (e.g., basic market, industry, prospect or deal intermediary research).
- Leverage DealCloud to develop dashboards, reports, and insights to track KPIs and pipeline metrics.
- Collaborate with leadership to create and present HK Deal Flow℠ performance reports.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any technical issues and recommend database improvements as needed.
- Special projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of corporate business development, investment banking or deal advisory experience.
- Strong proficiency with Intapp DealCloud (experience customizing workflows, dashboards, and reports is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to investment banking, family offices, private equity, venture capital, lender relationship management or corporate development.
- Experience with data enrichment tools (e.g., PitchBook, Capital IQ).
