Analyst - Global Markets Business Coordination
Work location: New York, New York, United States of America. Full-time position (40 hours per week) within TD Securities.
About the Role
Regulatory & Supervisory Management proactively supports the TD Securities Global Markets' businesses to achieve sustainable business strategies, effective and efficient operational processes, effective supervision and control processes, and alignment with the Bank's risk appetite and regulatory requirements. The Global Markets Business Coordination (GMBC) Analyst will support the GMBC Director with the planning, management, and delivery of a robust TD Securities Global Markets Business Coordination mandate through all specific phases in alignment with business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Act as specialist in the execution of Global Markets Front Office Employee Change.
- Communicate with a wide range of audiences comfortably and effectively within RSM, the Front Office, Business Heads, and Senior Executives.
- Ensure efficiency and completeness of execution of individual employee on/off-boarding and employee change management for TD Securities’ Global Markets across all regions.
- Facilitate the timely on/off-boarding, transfers, and departures of Global Markets employees and related application accesses through communication with other internal service groups and follow-up.
- Manage all ad hoc access requests and access issues for Global Markets.
- Manage the execution and follow-up with HR on Associate Rotational program/interns/co-ops.
- Manage Service Level Agreements and escalation to all support and provisioning teams that are decentralized globally.
- Conduct Standard Roles Document ("SRD") reviews and triage.
- Provide support to GMBC's Global Telephony mandate.
- Undertake information gathering, research, and analysis of data to provide relevant advice and information.
- Assist with various Global Markets reviews, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Create and take ownership of existing and new business management reporting, including presentations and dashboards to be shared with senior management.
- Provide management with analysis of issue drivers, root causes, and recommendations for process improvement.
- Identify and investigate standard and nonstandard issues within area of accountability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Front Office partners as well as with independent support and control groups.
- Participate in small/mid-size projects and provide input to policy and project development enhancements.
- Respond to stakeholder requests, escalating identified issues with recommendations for further management action where required.
- Ensure ongoing communication with the team regarding status and progress of tasks and activities.
- Participate fully as a member of the broader RSM team and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Develop professional expertise through on-the-job training and observation.
- Collect and maintain industry data from outside sources to assist with risk assessment.
- Participate in and/or assist in leading internal training activities for sales and customer service employees.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required (e.g., AML reporting).
- Represent TD at civic, professional, and bank-sponsored events; serve on non-profit boards and participate in professional organizations, as opportunities become available.
Requirements
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior knowledge and understanding of business processes, products, and procedures across Global Markets.
- Strong technical/development skills (e.g., Python, UiPath).
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong knowledge of Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups, formulas); ability to develop macros and write/edit code in VBA is advantageous.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
- Ability to understand detailed and technical issues, distill and summarize problems, and recommend solutions to senior management.
- Self-starter who can think critically and make decisions independently while collaborating with business and infrastructure support teams.

Pay
Base pay range: $85,000 - $90,000 USD. TD is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities. The base pay offered may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other business needs.
