Analyst - Equity Capital Markets

About the role

Responsibilities

• Build and run comprehensive financial models and conduct a wide range of financial analyses
• Effectively analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information
• Aid in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
• Contribute to the development of company and industry research
• Develop a point of view and be prepared to challenge the consensus
• Collaborate effectively with senior bankers and clients

Requirements

• One year of relevant full-time work experience (investment banking, corporate finance, investment, or management consulting preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with extensive training in the building of presentation materials and financial modeling
• Fluency in the use of AI tools and prompt engineering
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
• Proven academic excellence and high degree of intellectual curiosity
• High level of responsiveness with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a high-quality work product
• A team player mindset; ability to work as part of a close-knit team
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both to deal teams and external clients
• Strong ability to multi-task

Qualifications

• Strong academic background, preferably with a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in financial analysis and modeling
• Knowledge of equity capital markets and related transactions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Excel and other financial modeling software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Pay

The base salary range for this role is approximately $120,000 - $125,000 USD. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and location.
