This is a full-time paid, immersive skill-building program spanning ten weeks from June through August 2027. Participation requires in-person attendance at your assigned location in the continental United States, in accordance with Capital One’s hybrid working model. Upon successful completion, participants may be eligible for other career opportunities at Capital One. Capital One will not sponsor new applicants for employment authorization or provide immigration-related support for this position.

About the role

The Analyst Early Internship Program (AEIP) is an immersive 10-week experience designed to equip you with valuable knowledge and skills for future opportunities as a Business Analyst at Capital One. The program focuses on learning, skill development, and a hands-on project where you’ll collaborate with full-time Business Analysts. You’ll also network, receive mentorship, and explore Capital One’s workplace culture. We welcome applications from students of all demographics and academic disciplines, especially those who self-identify as Black, Hispanic, and first-generation college students.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in a multi-week, interactive learning experience focused on Business Analyst skills, including turning data into insights, developing solutions to real problems, and effective communication.
  • Complete a specialized business analytics project, framing a key business challenge and devising strategic recommendations for leaders.
  • Actively participate as a team member of analysts.
  • Leverage analytics software to understand how business decisions impact profitability.
  • Build relationships with senior leaders, managers, associates, interns, and other participants, including 1-on-1 mentorship.
  • Access Capital One’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Business Resource Groups (BRGs) for professional development, connections, cultural celebrations, and community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date of August 2030 or earlier.
  • Must continue in the same course of study following the internship.
  • Must be in Sophomore Undergraduate Standing for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Pay

The full-time annual salary for this role is $89,000 for candidates in McLean, VA. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on agreed-upon hours.
