Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and calculate pricing for all new & existing products as well as impact on contribution margins, using available tools.
- Gather, store & maintain raw material & component inputs from procurement and/or outside vendors; analyze for key insights that may impact pricing decisions.
- Develop understanding of how labor rates & manufacturing processes drive costs and margins.
- Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, management & sales team to develop formal pricing quotations for new business.
- Assist, as needed, in initial project review and customer requirements to assure accuracy in the final price quoted.
- Work with order processing to verify accuracy of price quoted to customer against actual purchase order.
- Report & analyze key costing/pricing metrics to identify areas of improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA or BS degree, ideally in a quantitative (e.g., computer science, data science, economics) or business field (e.g. finance, accounting, management).
- A minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing costing experience; ERP/MRP experience a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Excel & Microsoft office applications.
- Track record of using data & analyses to solve problems, make decisions, and influence others.
- Strong time management skills, detail-oriented, and ability to work well under pressure.
- Highly adaptable to change, with a demonstrated sense of ownership, and personal accountability.
