About the role

Lincoln International is seeking an Analyst to join our rapidly growing Business Services, M&A practice in Richmond, VA. The Analyst position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding, yet supportive, team-oriented environment. Analysts serve as the analytical anchor for deal teams, preparing and ensuring the accuracy of financial modeling and analysis, interpreting results, and drawing conclusions. The role involves significant client interaction, preparation of marketing materials, and support throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare marketing materials for sell-side and buy-side M&A assignments
• Identify potential acquirers or targets
• Conduct industry and company-specific research
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of all presentation materials
• Support the due diligence process
• Interact with clients on a regular basis and attend client meetings
• Support the marketing activities of the firm as they relate to an industry or engagement
• Prepare, complete, and ensure the accuracy of financial modeling and analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2-3 years of experience in sell-side M&A required
• Minimum GPA of 3.5
• Strong writing, verbal communication, and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Assertive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
