This role serves as a strategic analytics partner to Sales leadership and cross-functional teams, translating performance data into clear, actionable insights that support growth, profitability, and market performance. You’ll work closely with senior team members to build analyses, support decision-making, and communicate insights that influence key initiatives as part of the Analytics Department (“The A Team”)—a highly visible, business-facing group that partners with leadership on high-impact decisions and offers strong opportunities for learning and career progression.
About the role
- Location: HQ office in Newport Beach, CA
- Hybrid: 2 days on site
- Travel: Up to 5%
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales and financial performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with field and sales reps to clarify KPIs, commissions, and profitability metrics
- Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance summaries for both internal and field audiences
- Support financial modeling, forecasting, and incentive structure analysis
- Gather, validate, and organize data from multiple sources to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency
- Maintain Tableau and Excel dashboards that track key business and field metrics
- Contribute to ad hoc analyses, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives across Analytics and Finance
- Assist in preparing insights and materials for leadership and field presentations
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support team and organizational priorities
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in sales analytics, FP&A, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation)
- Experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools (basic calculated fields; LOD experience is a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Foundational knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, or business analysis
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to varying audiences
- Experience working with large datasets and ensuring data integrity
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow in a fast-changing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
Pay
$100,000–$110,000/year, commensurate with experience.
