Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial plans.
• Conduct budget analysis, which represents approximately 60% of the role, to monitor variances and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Prepare and analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics.
• Analyze business performance and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and inform decision-making.
• Create and maintain reports using reporting tools and Excel databases to support business operations and financial analysis.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to address specific business questions and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders and other departments to understand requirements and deliver relevant analytical support.
• Support business operations through reporting, data analysis, and operational reviews.
• Aid in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending data-driven solutions.
• Contribute to special projects by providing analytical support, reporting, and operational insights.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to internal stakeholders by responding to inquiries, clarifying data, and providing clear explanations of findings.
• Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and professionally to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Experience conducting budget analysis and financial reviews.
• Ability to analyze business performance and operational metrics.
• Experience preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages.
• Proficiency with reporting tools and Excel databases.
• Experience supporting business operations through reporting and operational analysis.
• Strong customer service skills when working with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to support process improvements and special projects.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership.
• Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to solve problems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $27.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
