Analyst

About the Role

Acts as an integral part of the financial/strategic planning team by providing analytical expertise and consulting support to operating departments and upper management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of the annual budget and the preparation of monthly financial and operational reports.
• Develop and implement analytical tools and processes and analyze operational performance data to identify trends.
• Perform analysis on marketing programs and initiatives, gaming operations and profitability, and labor utilization and scheduling.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Marketing, or Mathematics or a technical field with strong analytical and communication skills required.
• Some experience in financial analysis and/or operations analysis preferred.
• Good writing and communication skills; able to comfortably communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to co-workers and internal clients.
• Must be technically skilled and have experience using data analysis tools such as Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Access.
• Must be able to quickly learn other IT software.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Regularly required to see, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Must occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
• Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
