The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. This role serves many business lines as part of the AML Compliance Technology by implementing and improving various AML Compliance Systems like KYC. You will partner constantly with stakeholders while applying technical skills to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Ensure optimum performance, high availability, and stability of solutions
- Design and develop applications, system-to-system interfaces, and complete software solutions
- Create documentation such as user guides and software development guides
- Develop advanced code and perform code review
- Provide production support for any production issues
- Fix issues, end-of-life (EOL) components, observations, and other key activities
Requirements
- Minimum 3-6 years of software development experience
- 3+ years of strong backend development experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices with an emphasis on REST services
- 1+ years of experience with Web UI frameworks (e.g., Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, Node.js, and Bootstrap). Preferred: Angular
- 3+ years of experience with relational databases
- Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills and proficiency in Java
- Experience deploying application components on Apache Tomcat and OpenShift platform
- Excellent computer science fundamentals, including Object-Oriented Design and Java Design Patterns
- Proficiency in using Git for source code repository; Maven and Jenkins for build
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred

Pay
The typical base pay range for this role is as follows:
- New York / New Jersey: $91,000–$141,000
- Non–New York / New Jersey: $91,000–$128,000 (depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location)
This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.

Schedule
