Analyst/Associate, Financial Analytics
Position Description
Maintain and enhance financial models to reflect evolving market conditions, deal structures, and fund strategies, ensuring accuracy and relevance for ongoing decision-making.
Develop, improve, and automate reporting dashboards and analytics tools to enhance transparency, efficiency, and real-time insights across funds and portfolios.
Prepare data-driven materials for investor presentations, fundraising efforts, internal meetings, and management updates.
Manage multiple concurrent projects and analytical initiatives, including building and maintaining clear workstreams, timelines, and deliverables across stakeholders.
Support project management, documentation, and reporting workflows using tools such as Notion or similar project and knowledge management systems.
Conduct scenario, sensitivity, and stress-testing analyses to evaluate the impact of market shifts, operational changes, and investment decisions.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple systems, data sources, and reporting environments; partner with operations and technology teams to resolve discrepancies.
Support ad-hoc analyses related to fund performance, valuation methodologies, market trends, and investment strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 3-5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, valuation, consulting, or a financial analytics role (title level adjusted based on experience).
- Strong financial modeling skills, including proficiency with Excel and experience building and maintaining complex models.
- Familiarity with valuation methodologies (DCF, market comps, precedent transactions, option-pricing methods, etc.).
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and/or programming skills in Python, SQL, or R preferred.
- Exceptional analytical ability with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to distill large data sets into clear insights and communicate them effectively to senior stakeholders.
- Prioritize multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across investment, operations, and technology teams.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in private credit, private equity, or alternative investments.
- Familiarity with fund reporting, performance analytics, and portfolio monitoring systems.
- Prior exposure to valuation audits or working with third-party valuation firms.
Location
Must be willing to work out of our Tampa, Florida or NYC office.
Compensation
The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and performance during the selection process. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and other economics. Total compensation may vary by role, location, department, and individual performance.
