Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and curious Marketing Analyst to join the Channel Performance team. This role is ideal for candidates with a robust analytics background across paid media channels. The analyst will focus on evaluating channel and creative data to produce actionable insights and recommendations, as well as creating measurement plans, test plans, and learning agendas, alongside reporting responsibilities. Collaboration and curiosity are essential.

  • Build and own the recurring reporting cadence—defining requirements, automating, ensuring data quality, and delivering consistent, stakeholder-ready reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years proven experience in analytics, with at least 2 years of marketing agency experience preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various paid marketing channels and experience optimizing performance.
  • Experience using analytics to optimize paid media & creative performance.
  • Experience with brand lift studies, MTA or MMM.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to convert data into valuable insights and recommendations, as well as identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for making data accessible and actionable for diverse audiences.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of taking ownership of tasks and navigating undefined challenges.
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys connecting resources and working with others to solve problems and achieve common goals.
  • Responsible for the handling and maintenance of confidential and highly sensitive information.

Skills

  • Ability to learn AWS Services (Athena, Redshift, Sagemaker) and Python for future state analytical needs.
  • Working knowledge of SAS and/or SQL is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Marketing principles and leveraging Marketing data to drive decision making.
  • Experience with Google Marketing Platform, Power BI, Datorama, and Adobe is preferred.

Schedule

Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week. Employees should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment.

Pay

  • Potential starting salary range: $95,800 - $148,000 (high end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience).
  • Potential yearly incentive pay up to 10% of base salary.
