Analyst, Accounting Policy and Compliance
Credigy is a fast-paced, growing financial services company, and our Accounting Policy team plays a critical role in keeping us compliant with accounting standards and internal policy as we scale. As our Analyst, Accounting Policy and Compliance, you'll dig into the technical accounting questions that keep our financial reporting accurate and audit-ready, while getting exposure to a wide range of projects across the company. This role is a great fit for someone who's curious about the "why" behind accounting standards, not just the "what," and who wants room to grow into bigger technical accounting challenges over time.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship.
About The Role
As the Analyst, Accounting Policy and Compliance, you'll support Credigy's Accounting Policy team in maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards — including IFRS and US GAAP — and internal accounting policies across the organization. You'll work closely with Credigy's broader finance team and with external auditors, helping ensure our financial reporting holds up to scrutiny. You'll also get exposure to technical accounting documentation, regulatory reporting, and due diligence work that touches deals across the business. Success in this role looks like accurate, well-documented work that finance leadership and auditors can rely on without a second look.
Responsibilities
- Support the annual financial audit process, including researching disclosure requirements for private companies under IFRS and preparing stand-alone financial statements and disclosures.
- Serve as a liaison between external auditors and Credigy's finance team, coordinating audit schedules and deliverables and ensuring timely resolution of auditor questions.
- Draft technical accounting and regulatory documentation under IFRS, including valuation methodology write-ups (expected credit losses and fair value) and their impact on financial statements.
- Document accounting policies and regulatory conclusions for specific transactions.
- Prepare fair value disclosures and support fair value measurement analysis for Financial and Regulatory Reporting.
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly disclosures included in the Parent company's consolidated financials.
- Analyze third-party financial statements to support due diligence on new transactions.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in a financial reporting capacity.
- Familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP accounting principles.
- Strong organizational and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- CPA license or progress toward CPA designation.
- Experience preparing or auditing financial statements under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
Benefits
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage through Cigna, with Credigy covering a significant portion of premiums.
- Short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), and basic life insurance at no cost.
- 401(k) with company match.
- Generous paid time off (PTO) and paid parental leave.
- Volunteer time off through Credigy Cares.
- Workplace perks including a thoughtfully equipped office environment, technology, and tools to support your work.
Schedule
This role is based at Credigy's corporate headquarters in Norcross, GA. From day one, you'll work with your manager to build a personalized flexibility arrangement through Credigy's Flex Werk program.
