About the role

The Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) organization is currently hiring an All-Up-Round (AUR) and Guidance Section (GS) Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for the AMRAAM® D4 / C9 Program to join our Tucson, AZ location.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a multidisciplinary IPT in the design, development, and integration of Guidance Section hardware and associated engineering test equipment in support of AIM 120 D4/C9 variant implementation.
  • Serve as Cost Account Manager for assigned control accounts, ensuring accurate planning, budgeting, performance tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Define and prioritize program level capabilities and backlog to align with product vision, technical strategy, and customer objectives.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated program roadmap, ensuring alignment of Guidance Section and AUR deliverables with program milestones and cross functional dependencies.
  • Interpret, communicate, and incorporate contractual and customer requirements into IPT planning, technical execution, and decision making.
  • Collaborate closely with System Architects, Product Owners, and Cross Product Team Leads to ensure cohesive system integration and adherence to architecture and technical expectations.
  • Support the Product Owner by clarifying capabilities, defining Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and facilitating effective prioritization within Agile development processes.
  • Contribute to Epic definition by identifying technical needs, dependencies, and integration requirements related to Guidance Section and All Up Round functionalities.
  • Proactively manage technical debt and program risks, developing and executing mitigation strategies to maintain technical health and program performance.
  • Participate in Agile Release Train (ART) level events and support Product Team–level events as required to maintain alignment, cadence, and Agile discipline.
  • Ensure compliance with EVMS requirements, systems engineering processes, requirements verification/validation, quality standards, and safety policies across all IPT activities.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience in Program Management or large IPT execution.
  • Experience with program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and Risk and Opportunity Management along with EVMS certification.
  • Experience managing budget and schedule, including the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process, financial performance report generation, Budget Change Requests (BCR) and Basis of Estimate (BOE) generation.
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance is required before start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
