AMNO - Motor Associate
Job Overview
The Motor Associate plays a critical role in the disassembly, cleaning, and preparation, and reassembly of AC and DC motors to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This position supports production efficiency and equipment quality by performing mechanical tasks with precision and safety and operational standards.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Disassemble AC/DC motors including taping holes and cleaning
- Remove all bearings and sleeves
- Run VIP furnace
- Sandblast parts for assembly
- Flush water jackets
- Press shafts into armatures
- Prep motor assembly with necessary parts
- Paint motors
- Perform other assignments as directed by departmental supervision
- Obey all safety rules and maintain housekeeping standards
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar manufacturing environment
- Mechanical experience
- Must be able to work any shift including overtime and weekends
