About the Provider

Amilcar Rizzo, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. His interest in dermatology began at a young age after developing a phototoxic reaction in his skin, sparking his intellectual curiosity for investigating human skin biology. He also received the Loren D. Carlson Award, the highest research accolade given to a graduating medical student.

Dr. Rizzo provides expertise in managing medical conditions like acne, actinic keratosis, eczema, moles, psoriasis, and skin cancers (basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma). His extensive background in basic, clinical, and translational research allows him to offer patients the latest therapeutic options while recognizing that each patient is unique.
