Job Summary

Seeking AMI trained Guides to join our team at Journey Montessori, an AMI recognized Montessori School in Santa Fe, New Mexico serving ages 3-14 in primary, elementary and adolescent environments. We offer a robust outdoor education program.

Pay & Benefits

Annual salary range: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00, DOE

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
• Implement the Montessori philosophy and curriculum.
• Provide individualized instruction to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Embrace our robust and fun outdoor education programming.

Qualifications

• AMI Diploma
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Montessori environment (preferred)
• Ability to guide children in nature and hike with a backpack
• Experience driving a 15 passenger van (preferred but can train)
• Experience working with neurodiverse children (preferred)

Requirements

• Maintain 24 hours of ECECD approved training yearly
• Maintain CPR certification every two years
• Maintain Wilderness First Aid certification
• Attend and participate in school functions
• Support JMS mission and policies
