About the role
The Airborne Tech instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality technical instruction to students enrolled in the Airborne tech program. This position ensures consistent, standards training aligned with program curriculum, safety requirements, and industry.
Responsibilities
- Delivers hands-on and classroom-based instruction
- Maintains instructional continuity across cohorts
- Reinforces AMES training standards and policies
- Supports students' success by contributing to improved student completion rates
- Prepares students for entry-level technician roles
- Sustains program consistency through reliable class schedules
- Collaborates with program leadership on curriculum delivery
- Ensures a positive and structured learning environment for all students
Requirements
- A valid A&P License
- 2-5 years of hands-on aviation experience in an MRO environment or airline level
- A high school diploma
- A high level of integrity, strong work ethic, and professionalism in all interactions
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service in an educational context
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven, and compliance-oriented educational setting
