AMES ATP INSTRUCTOR

About the role

The Airborne Tech instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality technical instruction to students enrolled in the Airborne tech program. This position ensures consistent, standards training aligned with program curriculum, safety requirements, and industry.

Responsibilities

• Delivers hands-on and classroom-based instruction
• Maintains instructional continuity across cohorts
• Reinforces AMES training standards and policies
• Supports students' success by contributing to improved student completion rates
• Prepares students for entry-level technician roles
• Sustains program consistency through reliable class schedules
• Collaborates with program leadership on curriculum delivery
• Ensures a positive and structured learning environment for all students

Requirements

• A valid A&P License
• 2-5 years of hands-on aviation experience in an MRO environment or airline level
• A high school diploma
• A high level of integrity, strong work ethic, and professionalism in all interactions
• Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service in an educational context
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven, and compliance-oriented educational setting
