Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach courses

Qualifications

• Ability to design and deliver clear, engaging instruction, including creating lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with course outcomes
• Strong classroom management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to support an inclusive, respectful, and effective learning environment
• Proficiency with educational technology and learning management systems, and comfort using digital tools for teaching, communication, and grading
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and community partners, and for providing constructive feedback
• Commitment to student success, including advising, mentoring, and supporting learners from diverse backgrounds and with varied educational needs
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work within academic teams, participate in committees, and contribute to curriculum and program improvement
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; advanced degree and/or relevant industry certifications or licensure preferred, depending on discipline
• Demonstrated professional experience in the relevant subject area; experience teaching in a technical or community college setting is a plus
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and to align instruction with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and best practices
