About the role
The opportunity involves shaping the future of technology solutions for the U.S. tax practice within the Americas Tax Technology Group (ATTG). This role serves as the primary interface between tax business leadership and IT, focusing on strategic direction, business value, and technology integration.
Responsibilities
- Strategic direction and business value of technology tools for a specific sub-service line (SSL)
- Development of an integrated business plan for optimal value delivery
- Collaboration with sub-service line leaders, ATTG colleagues, EY Global IT, and front-line Tax professionals
- Market pursuit via participation in sales processes and proposal presentations
- Technology governance to ensure business value realization
- Service line strategic needs identification and solution development
- Portfolio budget monitoring and project scope management
- Cost/benefit analysis and tool operational issue resolution
- Emerging technology awareness and integration
- Formulation of formative decisions on tool licenses from third-party vendors
- Handling multiple competing priorities and resource allocation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, or finance, or equivalent work experience
- Master's degree preferred
- 15+ years of relevant experience with substantial management experience
- Approved technical certification required

Pay
$99,700 to $289,200 base salary range for all geographic locations in the US, with higher ranges for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento).
Schedule
Hybrid model with most people in external, client-serving roles expected to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
