Americas Sales Director, ISC
About the role
This is an opportunity to lead growth in a rapidly expanding global business within HID’s Identification Technologies (IDT) division. As the America Sales Director for the Industrial Smart Components (ISC) Business Unit, you will lead a geographically diverse sales organization across North and South America, driving regional revenue with an emphasis on expanding the RFID tag business through OEMs, VARs, and System Integrator partnerships. ISC has significant potential for both organic growth and growth through acquisitions. You will report directly to the ISC Global Sales Director, ensuring alignment between regional execution and global strategy.
This highly collaborative, 100% remote role demands strong team leadership, managerial skills, and excellent communication abilities. You will coach and develop a fully remote sales team while operating in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, build, coach, and inspire a high-performing ISC sales team across North America (approximately 8+ team members), fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous development.
- Translate global ISC sales strategy into actionable regional plans aligned with revenue and growth objectives.
- Drive consistent top-line growth and increased market share through a balanced mix of direct and channel sales.
- Develop and strengthen sales channels, including OEMs, VARs, and system integrators, to expand market reach and scalability.
- Proactively uncover and develop new business opportunities across target industries and applications.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with key customers and strategic accounts to position ISC as a preferred partner.
- Partner closely with Global Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Business Development teams to align execution and drive results.
- Balance regional priorities with global strategic initiatives, advocating for market-specific needs and opportunities.
- Drive accurate forecasting, pipeline health, and consistent quota attainment across the region.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize pipeline performance to ensure sustainable, predictable growth.
- Provide clear, data-driven updates on performance, including risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the development and execution of sales incentive plans and ensure disciplined CRM usage (e.g., Salesforce).
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and career development to strengthen team capabilities and retention.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; technical education or background is preferred.
- Ten+ years of progressive sales and leadership experience in relevant industries.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Demonstrated success leading remote sales teams with responsibility for generating significant revenue (e.g., $30M+).
- Proven ability to lead through change and drive organizational transformation.
- Strong customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering long-term value.
- Extensive experience selling complex, technical solutions in a consultative environment.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to interpret complex business and financial data and translate insights into action.
- Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and business planning capabilities.
- Background or strong affinity for technical products; experience in RFID tags and labeling technologies is a plus.
- Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders across all levels, including Engineering, Procurement, and C-suite.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of channel-based sales models, including OEMs, VARs, and integration partners.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and highly self-motivated.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com.
- Familiarity with financial and analytics platforms (e.g., Oracle Analytics Cloud or similar tools).
- Up to 50% travel, including international travel.

Pay
The base salary range for this role in the United States is $168,000 to $198,000. The On-Target Earnings (OTE) potential is up to $330,000. Final compensation decisions depend on skill sets, experience, training, and other business and organizational needs.
