About the role
The Americas Leader, Commercial and Specialty Insurance is a senior executive responsible for the overall growth, operations and financial performance of DXC’s Industry Leading Insurance Commercial and Specialty Software business in the Americas Region. This will include responsibility for areas such finance, sales, marketing, human resources, and operations. This role must possess strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to make strategic business decisions and develop strong working relationships with cross-functional teams. They must also have a thorough understanding of the Americas Insurance Commercial and Specialty industry, as well as the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to all departments and employees
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve DXC’s Insurance Software growth goals
- Oversee financial performance, including budget preparation and cost management
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
- Identify and implement opportunities for growth and improvement
- Drive active participation on our Customer Communities
- Contribute to development of DXC’s Commercial and Specialty Software Roadmap
Requirements
- Proven track record in a senior leadership role
- Extensive experience in financial management
- Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
- Experience with strategic planning and execution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Experience in managing large-scale projects
- Familiarity with Americas’ Commercial and Specialty Software market
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field
- At least 15 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a similar industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team and driving results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
- Familiarity with budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management
- Master’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
Benefits
- Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $139,200 – $289,000.
