Responsibilities
- Provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards.
- Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
- Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member.
- Provides clinical assessment, symptom management, patient education, addresses critical lab values, care coordination, and collaborates with oncology/hematology provider teams.
- Maintains strong interpersonal and communication skills, makes autonomous decisions, and demonstrates excellent assessment skills.
Requirements
- Prior oncology experience preferred.
- One year of acute care experience required.
- Located offsite at Corporate Woods with free parking.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in New York State.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Completion of a BSN program or currently enrolled in a BSN program.
- Experience in oncology or acute care preferred.

- Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Pay
- Compensation Range: $38.76 - $52.33
Schedule
- FT position, 4-10 hour shifts, primarily days, M-F; potential for one day per week from home.
