About the role
Responsible for providing comprehensive peri-operative nursing care during surgery and endoscopic procedures, under the direction of the ASC Manager. This is a per-diem, on-site surgical nursing role in an orthopedic surgery department, emphasizing patient-focused, whole-person care within a culture of mutual respect and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care with healthcare team members to ensure safe, effective outcomes.
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver intraoperative care and advocate for patients' rights.
- Serve as a liaison among physicians, staff, patients, and families to facilitate smooth care flow.
- Assist in supervising support staff and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid Washington RN license and BLS certification upon hire.
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
- Certification in a related specialty area.
Pay
Pay range: $41.56 to $64.52 per hour.
