Ambulatory Surgery Center RN - Orthopedic Surgery
Under the direction of the ASC Manager, this role has direct responsibility and accountability for patient care during the intraoperative phase of surgery and endoscopic procedures. The position utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the Peri-Operative phase, coordinates total patient care in collaboration with other healthcare team members, and functions as a patient advocate. The role serves as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients, and their families to facilitate safe and effective patient care, consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Kadlec Regional Medical Center. Additionally, the position assists in providing direction to support staff and demonstrates professional growth by accepting responsibility for nursing practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to patients during the intraoperative phase of surgery and endoscopic procedures.
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive Peri-Operative nursing care.
- Coordinate total patient care in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
- Act as a patient advocate, upholding Patient's Rights.
- Serve as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients, and families to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Demonstrate professional growth and accountability for nursing practice.
- Provide direction and support to staff as needed.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
- 1 year of nursing experience.
- Certification in a related specialty area (upon hire).

Pay
The pay range for this position is $41.56 - $64.52 per hour. These amounts represent the base pay range; additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
