About the role
Under the direction of the ASC Manager, has direct responsibility and accountability for the care of the patient during the intraoperative phase of surgery and endoscopic procedures. Utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care Peri-Operative phase. Coordinates total patient care in coordination with other health care team members. Functions as a patient advocate utilizing the Patient's Rights. Demonstrates professional growth and development by accepting responsibility and accountability for one's nursing practice. Serves as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients and their families to facilitate safe and effective flow of patient care in a manner consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of Kadlec Regional Medical Center. Assists in providing direction of support staff.

Requirements
Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 1 year Nursing experience.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 1 year Nursing experience. Certification in related specialty area preferred.
Skills
Knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
