Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) - Center for Advanced Heart Care

About the role

The Registered Nurse-Ambulatory functions as a member of the physician practice team within the Center for Advanced Heart Care team at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Phone triage
• Scheduling appointments
• Nurse protocols
• Patient education
• Prescription refill
• Completing FMLA/STD paperwork
• Other related tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN, ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program, or three years related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• At least one year of nursing experience required, preferably in cardiology
• Previous medical office/outpatient experience and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred
