Ambulatory/Phoenix Epic Analyst

About the role

Partnering with a leading Midwest healthcare organization, this Contract to Hire Epic Ambulatory Analyst (Phoenix) role supports ongoing optimization, enhancement, and strategic initiatives within the Epic environment. The analyst will collaborate with operational leaders, drive workflow improvements, and own Epic build responsibilities from design through go-live support.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support Epic Ambulatory and Phoenix applications
• Partner with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and improve workflows
• Lead system optimization initiatives, upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations
• Configure Epic records, workflows, security, rules, and related application components
• Develop and execute testing plans, including unit, integrated, and UAT testing
• Provide go-live, hypercare, and end-user support
• Troubleshoot application issues and drive root cause analysis
• Collaborate with interface, reporting, and technical teams to ensure seamless integrations
