Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician will primarily support an anticoagulation clinic in Grand Rapids, MI. Pharmacy technician support involves triaging phone calls on a multi-line system, processing patient referrals, scheduling patient appointments and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records. The technician may also be called upon to support additional ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed, ensuring seamless coordination and continuity of care across services.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Completion of ASHP/ACPE pharmacy technician training program
- Preferred: completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician certification program; or two years of college with emphasis in math, science, or medical field applications
- Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician Licensure (Full license)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) National Certification
- Two years of pharmacy work experience
